"As the mayor, I hereby declare the Tunisian Archaeological Exhibit... Open!"

The National Museum of History and Culture [1], formerly the National Museum of History and Stuff[2] and simply known as The Museum, is the primary setting of Stealing the Diamond. It is located in what appears to be a small metropolitan city.

It contains the Grand Exhibit for the Tunisian Diamond.

Appearance

Exterior

The museum is a stone building with multiple skylights and a dome. It has several floors and a roof accessible by a door. There is a parking lot in front of the museum which has several vehicles parked in it.

Besides the main entrance, the museum also has a back door.

Interior

Lobby

The lobby is the first room at the entrance of the museum. It has tiled floor. There you can see reception and a guard at the intersection to other rooms. There are two entrances that leads to different rooms and two paintings in between them. It also has a reception desk in the center of the room.

Medieval

The medieval section is the first area near the lobby. When Henry busts in with his scooter, he passes straight through it. The place is full of historical pictures and weapons and there is a boat hanging from the ceiling in which Henry crashes when he uses the Flail. There are glass display cases with melee weapons stands with armors. There are multiple spears on the wall and a catapult next to it. Two art pictures can be found there: Leonidas and King Harkinian.

WWII

The World War Two section is the area at the back of museum. It is a room with a red carpeted floor. There is a glass display case with a machine gun, a rifle, and two pistols. There is also a German plane model and a tank model that looks like an M1 Sherman. There is also a flamethrower and a gas mask on the wall, just beside it is a large machine gun that resembles a M2 Browning, surrounded with sandbags. There is a Bombshell at the end of the wall. There is a picture frame of Adolf Hitler (portrayed by Bruno Ganz)'s breakdown scene in a German film, Downfall. It is guarded by Dave Panpa and Kurt Dietrich when Henry attempts to steal the diamond.

Retro

Retro is a section at the back of the Grand exhibit, where some things from various retro video games are present (Crowbar, Metroid, Pokeball, Super Mushroom) and a Spiny Shell from Mario. On the wall there is a painting of Luigi from Mario and a picture of Goomba. There is a display stand on the right side of the room with some artifacts.

Tunisian Exhibition

This is the part of the museum where the Tunisian Diamond is on display in a glass case in the center of the room along with other several artifacts. The room has a catwalk above the Tunisian Diamond display under the roof. Henry's goal is to reach this room and take the diamond. The exhibit appears to be in the back of the museum, close to the back door that Henry uses in both "Intruder on a Scooter" and "Unseen Burglar" to get out after stealing the diamond.

"Just Plain Epic" shows the same room also contains a pterodactyl egg, which hatches when the giant Henry walks besides it.

Modern "Art"

A sign for this room is briefly seen in the Lobby. It is next to the Medieval room and much of it is absent in-game besides it's brief appearance in the beginning of "Intruder on a Scooter."
